In this (pending) essay I want to discuss four questions: (1) What are ‘welfare attitudes’? (2) Is it possible to measure “welfare attitudes” using the survey method? (3) Who are the enemies of welfare and the state? (4) How much amount of trust/distrust do the enemies of the welfare state have for welfare and the state?
Method:
It will be beneficial to see if smaller surveys are fruitful to use while measuring growing anti-welfare attitudes among individuals embedded in the educational process.The core emphasis is on the formation of “welfare” attitudes on individuals and the division of views on the following areas: inequality, government responsibility, social justice, taxation, government economic action, public spending, welfare attitudes, wage principles, welfare limits, trust, etc.
